Last Update: May 2025
The Gathering Place
- Regular Gathering Place hours are from 6 am to 9 pm. The Gathering Place access cards are required for entry.
- Please observe the posted pool rules. Security cameras have been installed inside and around The Gathering Place for your safety and property protection. Violators will be evicted, and trespassers will be prosecuted.
- Absolutely no glass is allowed at The Gathering Place.
- When finished, please turn off whatever you turned on (grills, fire pit, etc.).
Trash
- Trash pickup is every Monday and Thursday. We have active bears and raccoons in this neighborhood. Many trash cans are equipped with straps to prevent the animals from tearing into trash bags. UPDATE: Walton County trash service is now using automatic garbage trucks, and straps & similar devices need to be unlatched on the mornings of trash pickup.
- All trash should be bagged and placed SECURELY inside the trash cans assigned to your house. The trash cans must be returned to the corral. Please do not use your neighbors’ trash cans.
Parking
- Please honor the neighborhood’s 15 mph speed limit and all STOP signs.
- Only park cars in your driveways or marked spaces throughout the community. No parking is allowed on the street (except in marked spaces), in the pine straw, walkways, sidewalks, or yards.
- Vehicles may not be parked at the Gathering Place on Sage Circle overnight. Vehicles parked illegally are subject to being towed.
- Keep garage doors closed when not in use.
- Boats, trailers, and RVs are not allowed in the community.
Street Legal Golf Carts / Low Speed Vehicles (LSV)
- Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should Street Legal Golf Carts / LSVs be driven by unlicensed drivers. Please refer to your house rules for specific age requirements.
- Carts cannot be driven on ANY Trails or the Lilly Lane Beach Trail.
- The same parking rules apply to low-speed vehicles as to cars.
- Follow Walton County Low-Speed Vehicle Laws (https://waltonso.org/lsv/)
Home Appearance
- Toys, bicycles, and ALL beach gear belong at the back of the house and should not be scattered in the front yard, sidewalks, driveways, or front railings.
- Beach towels, swimsuits, and other articles are prohibited on the front porch rails.
Pets
- Dogs must always be leashed.
- We have provided dog stations throughout the neighborhood for waste disposal. Please pick up after your pets.
