The NatureWalk Homeowners Association, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation officially established under the Articles of Incorporation and governed under legal documents entitled “Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for NatureWalk at Seagrove” and “Amended and Restated Bylaws of NatureWalk Homeowners’ Association, Inc.”

NatureWalk owners receive copies of these documents at closing, but they are also available for download from the HOA Portal. Everyone who purchases a home in NatureWalk automatically becomes an HOA member and agrees to be bound by the Covenants and Bylaws as a condition of ownership.

Our HOA is managed by a Board of Directors composed of five NatureWalk homeowners, elected at the Annual Membership meeting. The Board is empowered to act on behalf of the HOA to establish rules and regulations, enter into contracts, create a budget, and manage the affairs of the neighborhood pursuant to the Covenants. All meetings of the Board of Directors are required by law to be open to attendance by all HOA members. Meetings may also be available for remote viewing through online media.

A Community Development District (CDD) is a legal entity established under Florida law for the purpose of financing the installation and maintenance of neighborhood infrastructure. The developer set up the NatureWalk Community Development District (CDD) in June 2005 to build and maintain our roads, bridges, storm sewers, sidewalks, trails, ponds, and common green spaces.

The CDD continues to be responsible for the maintenance and landscaping of these areas and the land between the sidewalks and the streets. “In accordance with its limited purpose, the District issued two series of bonds in March 2007 (Series 2007A in the amount of $8,295,000, and Series 2007B in the amount of $11,705,000) to finance construction of the public infrastructure anticipated to serve NatureWalk.”

The NatureWalk Community Development District (the “District”) is organized similarly to other local governments in Florida in that the legislative body is composed of a five-member board known as the Board of Supervisors. The Board establishes the policy of the District in accordance with Florida law. All meetings are held in a public forum.
